Team SuperFit Philadelphia: Volunteer Information

SF-PHILLY-black.jpg

Thanks again for helping us out at this weekend's event, Team SuperFit Philadelphia! We just wanted to check-in with everyone before the event to give you some general event information and set your expectations for the day. SuperFit events are not possible to put on without the help of our volunteers, so thank you in advance for all of your help!

We need judges! If any of your friends who plan to come spectate would like to join in the SuperFit experience, encourage them to judge a few heats.  We need a lot more judges to sign up to ensure the event runs smoothly.  If you know someone who would like to judge, send them here to sign up.

Here is General Event Information.

The event should run from 7am-7pm, but most of our volunteers won’t need to report until 8am.  If you need to leave early or come late, please let us know.  We will need help with judging, setting up equipment, running scores, and cleaning up after the event is over.   All volunteers will receive a Team SuperFit Philadelphia Hopper t-shirt as well as lunch provided by Custom Fit Meals.

Judges

I realize that there is some extra pressure and responsibility associated with being a judge, but it is also very rewarding.  We will be running judge's briefings before each workout, and consistently try to keep movements simple and easy to judge.  This makes judging easier as well as keeps our competitor happy.

General Help

General help will be assigned to collect spectator admission, assist with running scores to/from the judges to the scoring table, assisting with inputting scores, and help keep the facility clean through the event
